What do I think about the transgender ban in the US Military?

Hola a todos. Several people e-mailed me asking that question after the US Supreme Court upheld the orange despot’s transgender ban by a 5-4 vote. Queers/Trans individuals should have the same full rights as everyone else. Isn’t that a given? But it is beyond me why any Queer person (which includes trans) wants anything to do with or be in the US Military Industrial Complex Killing Machine and especially under this despicable orange-despot regime. WTF is wrong with some Queers? Insanity. You don’t have to be like the breeders in every fucking way. Many if not most Queers have carried that ridiculous order to “Assimilate with the straights/breeders” to the extreme, completely losing themselves and who they are as people. Stop it, damn it! Queers enjoy killing other Queers now, do they? Is that more of that “Assimilating with the straights” dogma? (Related: Why do Queers want to kill other Queers ?) Or has that not occurred to anybody? Allow me to enlighten you: When one is in the barbaric US Military Industrial Complex Killing Machine and fires a gun at someone, you’re not necessarily killing a breeder. You could be killing or injuring another Queer person that you could instead be making love with if you two hit it off? Ever thought of that? “Make Love, Not War.” I hope you get my point. We are told that Queers make up roughly 10% of the worldwide population. That’s laughable. We all know it’s far more than that. I think it’s far higher than that because many guys — who are perceived to be straight because they are married to females with children — are closet cases. The person you’re killing or harming may be Queer, not a breeder. Ever thought of that? No, I suspect you haven’t (excluding my regular readers). So it is beyond me why trans people want anything to do with the barbaric MIC Killing Machine. Why would a trans person want to be part of that vile barbarism? I’m well aware that after the order was given to “Assimilate with the breeders” following gay marriage becoming legal here in The Cesspool/the US, that most Queers went insane for wanting to be just like the breeders including being all “Rah, Rah US military” for militarism especially when their messiah Mr Nobel Peace Prize Obama was in office with his 11-12 wars (I’m sorry I lost count) that he left office with. (Related: Obama and the Transgender Activist). I watched the so-called “gay community” (whatever that means) flip out and become the opposite of who and what they were originally. So, I hope this answers the question as to how I feel about the trans ban in the MIC. As far as I’m concerned it’s a good thing. It’s too bad it doesn’t ban all Queers. After all, we Queers don’t really need to go kill anybody whether they’re straight or gay nor do we need to be involved in wars based on lies. Aren’t we better than that? We were better than that during the original Gay and Lesbian Rights Movement and before that ludicrous order to “Assimilate with the straights” was given. We were not interested in killing people at all. We were about peace and social justice. We were not about militarism or US nationalism or wearing tacky US flag shirts or military shirts (with “Army” and “Navy” written on the front) as I occasionally see some Queers wearing trying to be all “macho.”

And on another Queer-related topic, marriage equality:

Could the orange despot overturn marriage equality?
“D*nald Tr*mp had said he would “strongly consider” overturning the Supreme Court’s June 2015 decision to give same-sex couples the right to marry.”

Is there anyone reading this who thinks this can’t happen? Don’t be surprised if and when it does. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he were to do that. I’ve been expecting it. One does remember that vehemently anti-Queer P*nce is in the office of “vice president,” correct? And what would be the response from the now-dead so-called “gay community” (whatever that means) in the US of Insanity? Continued silence? Too busy on their phones? Chau.—el barrio rosa

Transgender And In The US Military?

Why do queers want to kill other queers ? Good point. Something I’ve never thought about I’m ashamed to admit. I’m here in SF and seeing the saturation of straight couples takes it toil on me as well. They are so in your face over here in the Castro, probably on purpose. I’ve even tried to think of myself as bisexual and to get into these straight couples in a 3-way type thing with me being more into the guy and where it turns out he’s really gay. I’ve tried that in fantasy thinking it might help me deal with seeing “all the straights.” It works sometimes in fantasy but not when I’m out my apartment and I actually see them. Even in fantasy it doesn’t feel as good as when I’m full-gay in my thoughts. You can only force your sexuality in the opposite direction so far I’ve learned. The body kicks in and responds with a this is not right feeling. Just something I’ve tried but it hasn’t worked. Then I wonder how many of these straight couples won’t be together and on the verge of breaking up despite their public face. Some of them do look unhappy….just going through the motions of being straight. If there’s ever a financial crash and the housing prices return to an affordable level, I fantasize about our old gay mecca returning to a new gay mecca when we have to start all over as you’ve written about. But it’s just a fantasy which I do a lot of.

Ouch! I bet most queers have never thought of any of this. Good for you for thinking of it and for writing it!!!

Agreed, and let me tell you I have tried to put this in comments on queer sites and others only to have my comment flagged, deleted or I was banned. It is an unwelcomed message and so glad you have your site where you can say this. I’ve lost gay friends over what you wrote here and trying to explain it to them. Queers killing other queers is something most never think about. They become speechless when trying to respond to it. You’ve spoken the unspeakable from the treatment I’ve received from saying the same thing you’ve written. Glad you wrote it. Peace.

I agree with both pb and E in Sunnyvale…..but I think most people would not because I don’t think most havve ever thought of any of this. With that assimilation tripe that you’ve talked so much about most have gotten in lockstep with militarism. Like you say it started under Obama even though it could havve started under Bush since Obama’s imperialism was that of Bush and then some. The snag there was that Bush was a Republican and Obama a Democrat and we all know that war is cool under Democrats with “the community.” Before I shout hypocrites as I know pb would do, I’ll stop now.

This pretty much echos how I feel about it. I have never had any desire to join the military and be trained to kill people to support corporate profits and imperialism; that would go against everything I believe in. But if someone wants to join the military, then they absolutely should have the same rights as everyone else.

Correct me if I’m wrong (I could be; I’ve kind of been avoiding reading about the issue to protect my sanity), but I think the Supreme Court allowed a lower (lower in more ways than one) court’s discriminatory ruling to stand, but they have not actually ruled on the issue yet.

So in the typically disgusting, unjust, bigoted style that is so typically “Amurrican!”, the Department of Injustice allowed a discriminatory ruling to stand even though that ruling has no basis in fact and has been completely unable to demonstrate how having trans people in the military would cause any kind of problem. As for paying for trans health care, that’s laughable; military spending is obscene in the YewEssAy. Any healthcare costs for the statistically small number of trans people would be comparable to a grain of sand in an ocean.

So once again, “Amurrica!”, you disgust me. But what also disgusts me are those people who want to join the military to support “Amurrican!” wars of aggression and imperialism and corporate blood profit.

    Glad to be Canadian

        Hi D8,
I’m Canadian-born, living in Sunnyvale. Dual-citizen and working on getting my act together to move back up to the land of maple syrup and curiously round bacon.
